I honestly can't believe it. Well, I mean, I can, if I try hard enough. But it seems like two weeks ago she was an adorable little newborn made up of angel kisses and eyelashes. Or something like that, you know.
But, she is one! And she is a little joker, let me tell you. She has a sense of humor just like her big brother Nathan. She looks at you with her face all scrunched up; yes, she gets the joke, let me tell you. She's often the one playing it.
And yet, she also has her soft side. The side that wants to cuddle just so, with her head resting on your shoulder. She'll cuddle like that for a long time, and when she feels you've been cuddled enough (she does it for us, you know) she sits up and flashes her newly-toothy grin, wrinkled nose, twinkling eyes and all. Yes. At one, she is one of the most beautiful little girls ever, and she has already made her mind up about most things in the world.
