All Things Are From God

Verse-share-palooza!!

~

1 Chronicles 29:14 “But who am I, and what is my people, that we should be able thus to offer willingly? For all things come from you, and of your own have we given you.

Job 35:7 If you are righteous, what do you give to him? Or what does he receive from your hand?

Job 41:11 Who has first given to me, that I should repay him? Whatever is under the whole heaven is mine.

John 3:27 John answered, “A person cannot receive even one thing unless it is given him from heaven.

Romans 11:33-36 “Oh, the depth of the riches and wisdom and knowledge of God! How unsearchable are his judgments and how inscrutable his ways! “For who has known the mind of the Lord, or who has been his counselor?” Or who has given a gift to him that he might be repaid?” For from him and through him and to him are all things. To him be glory forever. Amen.”

1 Corinthians 4:7 For who sees anything different in you? What do you have that you did not receive? If then you received it, why do you boast as if you did not receive it?

1 Corinthians 8:6 yet for us there is one God, the Father, from whom are all things and for whom we exist, and one Lord, Jesus Christ, through whom are all things and through whom we exist.

James 1:17 Every good gift and every perfect gift is from above, coming down from the Father of lights with whom there is no variation or shadow due to change.

  1. I learned this lesson a while back, that all I have is by Gods perfect grace to me. I did nothing. I deserve nothing. Yet my life is fully blessed, and I try to be content, not complaining of my plight.

    Great reminders, thanks for posting.

  2. So true. And I feel so guilty when I don't put anything in the offering plate.

    Sigh.

But, God also forgives us, right? ;)
